Eye of Yama-Con - 2015

New Monster Project went back to Yama-Con!!  This is the fourth year in a row that New Monster Project has been at Yama-Con and, once again, we had a great time!!

According to their website, Yama-Con is "an organization founded to celebrate everything nerd, geek, and otaku.  [They] operate fully on a volunteer basis to bring our attendees events that are focused around all the entertainment they love, such as anime, manga, comics, video games, and more."  Yama-Con was once again held at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge, in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Unfortunately, not everyone was able to make it and we weren't able to get nearly as much footage as we have in the past.  But, Yama-Con still holds a special place in our hearts and we still had a blast!!

Marble City Comicon - part 2

Ok, so things took a lot longer than expected to get posted.  We had a few road blocks over the past few months (job changes, kids, etc.), the worst of which was a hard-drive meltdown.  But, now that we have gotten past all of that, we finally got our coverage from Marble City Comicon posted.

Joining together with Tim and Daniel from Mass Listeria podcast (, we here at New Monster Project had another amazing time at Marble City Comicon!!  We hope that you have as much fun watching our coverage as we had at the con!!

Be sure to check back for more content and more coverage on all things geekery and pop-culture, and be sure to follow us here and on Twitter (@NewMonsterSays) for more updates!!

Marble City Comicon 2015 - part 1

Another convention has come and gone - and once again, New Monster was there to cover the awesomeness!  Joining together with the guys from Mass Listeria, we made the trek back up to Knoxville, TN to cover Marble City Comicon for the second year in a row.  As always, there were some awesome artists, great guests and vendors, and some really original cosplay (including the most adorable Hit Girl that has ever been)!

We are still working on the video coverage and will have that posted as soon as we can.  But, for now, enjoy some of the pictures we took (and we took quite a few).  If you see yourself in any of the photos (the camera loves ya, darlin'!), let us know and we will be sure to tag you in them.

Be sure to check back soon for more content and follow us here and on Twitter (@NewMonsterSays) for more updates!!
