Eye of Yama-Con - 2014

Back at the beginning of December (5-7), we once again made the trek to Pigeon Forge for Yama-Con.  This was our third year covering the con, so we were pretty excited.  In fact, we even met a couple people who actually recognized us!  But this isn't about us...so, back to the con.  Yama-Con is, in large part, an anime convention.  But, that certainly is not all!  As it says on their website, Yama-Con is "an organization founded to celebrate everything nerd, geek, and otaku. [They] operate fully on a volunteer basis to bring our attendees events that are focused around all the entertainment they love, such as anime, manga, comics, video games, and more." Yama-Con was held at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge and the location was fantastic, with lots of space to hold all of the attendees and their amazing costumes!!

We are still working on putting together our video and we will have that up as soon as we are able.  But for now, here are some of the pictures we took.  So, stare into the eye of Yama-Con (or, in this case, I guess it's more of the lens of Yama-Con??)  and behold the amazing costumes!!

And even more great costumes at the cosplay contest!

As always, the fans are part of what make Yama-Con, and every con, so freaking great!  I know we had a blast, and I hope you did too!  If you see yourself in any of the photos, please let us know and we will be sure to tag you in them!  We hope to see you there next year!
